Allen from AMG garage doors in Sligo. AMG was established
in March 2007 and we are the premier agent for Gliderol
roller garage doors in the North West of Ireland. We
supply and fit doors for home and businesses in Sligo,
Leitrim, Donegal, Mayo and Roscommon. Call / Email me to discuss door options that best suit your needs. Generally I'll call your premises in person to discuss door choices, designs, colour options and as to whether you would like an electric or manual system. Once I take measurements and place the order the door will typically take 1 week to manufacture and between 3 - 4 hrs to install at a time that is convenient to you. All installation fees are included in the price. We also take away your old door and donate it to a local recycling charity. |

Roller Doors
| Gliderol
domestic roller doors are available in a variety of sizes
up to 5m wide
and 3m
high. Because the curtain sits behind the brickwork
they are ideal for arched or unusual garage openings. The
doors do not require a frame meaning maximum possible
garage door opening width. Door goes up, door goes down. |

Manual Doors
| Most doors are
available in both manual and electrically driven automatic.
Whether you choose manual or the luxury of automatic
operation a Gliderol roller door is very easy to operate.
The doors incorporate a spring assisted mechanism in the
roller providing precise balance and giving the user
effortless operation. A fine balance between the weight of
the curtain and the upward pull of the springs is maintained
regardless of the position of the door. A manual door can be
easily operated with just one hand. Door goes up with one hand, door comes down with one hand. |

Secure Locking
The double sided locking system is operated from the central handle
and locks from the inside and outside of the door.Automatic Doors
Whilst many doors can be converted to automatic later there is
significant cost saving if the unit is factory-fitted from the
outset. Electric doors come with a push-button light assisted
control unit, audible beep on open close and a keyring sized remote
control for convenience.Remote Contol
Glidematic remote control allows the door to be opened or closed by means of a compact hand transmitter, which works up to 100m away, or in the garage with the wall mounted push button. Either way, the door opens and closes as smoothly and quietly as you like. Extra transmitters are readily available (optional extra). You can use up to 10 additional transmitters on each garage door. Push button, door goes up. Push button, door comes down. |

Low Maintenance
The Gliderol door itself and the roller mechanism are designed to require extremely low maintenance. Wherever possible hard wearing nylon parts or bearings are used to reduce friction without the need for lubrication. Your door never needs to be lubricated since it glides effortlessly along its guide rails.Convenience
The complete luxury of an automatic Gliderol door will spoil you
forever. You don't event need to get out of the security and comfort
of your own car to open / close the door.Security and Fail-Safe
The unique rolling code circuitry ensures fail-safe security and
eliminates the risk of another handset using the same code. A
Glide-A-Code transmitter using UHF frequency, transmits a different
code after every operation. Each time the handset and the control
box move onto a new setting from 1 of 2,000,000,000 codes. This
ensures the door cannot be operated by another transmitter. A
connection to the household alarm is also available (optional
extra). Safety around children
The Glidermatic drive unit automatically reverses should the
download movement of the door be restricted in any way. This ensures
no accidents with little children and pets around.Automatic light
The wall mounted remote unit houses a florescent light that
illuminates your garage for up to 5 minutes after the door is
activated. This allows you to drive into an illuminated garage and
leave safely.Quiet
As the Glidermatic drive unit is housed entirely within the
door-roll noise emissions are substantially reduced resulting in a
quiet and smoother performance, which also provides a greater space
saving in the garage.Sectional Doors
| American style up and over sectional doors are also available. These quality doors open vertically so you can park your car directly in front of them and still open the door. They give excellent security with all round sealing and insulation. Available in paneled or horizontal design a sectional door, as the name implies, is made-up from separate sections rather than a single panel. This allows for exceptionally smooth operation both manually and especially when electrically operated. |  |
Insulated Doors
| An insulated
version is also available. The insulated door curtain is
constructed from 77mm foam filled aluminum slats
approximately 15mm thick. All insulated doors come fully
automated as standard. Insulated doors are ideal for
garage conversion offering massive heat savings and noise
dampening. Nice and cosy. |

Powdercoating
AMG Mobile Powder Coating Service was setup in July 2008. The key feature of this service we are fully mobile and are not restricted to oven size. This new techniques is second to none and incorporates the use of thermoplastic aswell as thermo set powders. Products include anti-skid coatings, glow in the dark and corrosion prevention.
